We intercept a large and violent wedge tornado as it crosses the road east of Pampa, TX after dark on the evening of November 16, 2015. This was on the first supercell through Pampa to produce wedges.

This was the first of many tornadoes on the evening of November 16th, 2015 south of the town of Claude, TX. A beautiful meso structure wrapped up over the Palo Duro Canyon and then produced this brief tornado north of there.

Trip to Honolulu, Hawaii to visit Waikiki Beach, Pearl Harbor and the island of Oahu. I stayed in the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Alana – Waikiki Beach which was pretty good accommodations for the money. In retrospect, I wish I had paid a little more to stay on the beach. […]
