Chase Recap:

I was chasing in the Blue Moose with Tom and his dad. We left Norman, heading towards the Plains, TX area. I made the mistake of having Allsups twice on the drive out, something I would pay for later.

Storms Firing

We had made it to Tatum, New Mexico before storms started to fire. We were a bit too far south, so we headed north, getting on the storm near Morton. The storm had a decent wall cloud initially, but turned into a HP hailing beast. This video is from Morton where we watched the storm become more organized.

Hail Core near Enochs

We went through multiple hail cores and found some deep hail and muddy roads near Enochs. I also ran into problems with my computer, enduring multiple blue screens of death.

Sudan Texas Tornado

As we continued on, it was nearing the magical 00Z time frame. The storm started wrapping up more and we managed to witness a brief tornado near Sudan, Texas.

Shortly afterwards, we called the chase as it was dark and the Allsups from earlier caught up with me.
